Delete your PlateHunter account
Last updated: November 2, 2026
PlateHunter is an app by Ombelle, a MaxFabrics brand (Maxence Bonnet, sole proprietor, SIREN 104406707).
From the app (fastest)
- Open PlateHunter, then Settings.
- At the very bottom, in Danger zone, tap Delete my account.
- The app first offers to save your data to a file, then asks you to type “DELETE” to confirm. If your account is protected by Google, Google asks you to sign in again.
Deletion is immediate: at the end, the app returns to its welcome screen.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app or your phone, write to contact@maxfabrics.com, subject “PlateHunter account deletion”, from the Gmail address that protects your account (the one chosen with “Protect with Google”). We delete the account and the data described below within 30 days at most, and reply to you when it’s done.
An account that has never been protected by Google isn’t linked to any address: we can’t find it without the app. In that case, your partner can free up your spot in Our duo, or delete their own account (which erases the whole duo if they are its last member).
What is deleted
- Your account (technical identifier, link to your Google account if there is one).
- If your partner is still in the duo: your ratings, your comments and your dish ratings, on all visits (trash included), your first name (replaced by “Partner”), the review reminders sent or received, then your spot in the duo.
- If you are the last member of the duo: the whole duo, meaning the restaurants, visits, dishes, ratings, comments, expenses, photos, reminders, statistics, profiles and invitation codes.
- On your phone: the app’s preferences, the data cache, automatic backups and temporary copies.
What remains
- If your partner is still in the duo, the restaurants, visits, dishes and photos of the shared journal remain available to them, without your ratings, your comments or your first name.
- The backup files you saved or shared yourself belong to you: we have no access to them.
- No other copy is kept by MaxFabrics. Google, which hosts the data (Firebase), also removes them from its internal backup copies, on its own timelines.
What about the trash?
Whatever you put in the trash in the app stays there for 30 days, then it is erased for good, photos included, the next time either of you opens the app.
